A maze

Assalamualaikum
Try to sit down and think. Right now, do you realize that you are actually in a game of maze? A game that is controlled by one and only God, Allah. It’s a game where we walk on one road where there will be lots of obstacle in it. Sometimes, you have to choose between two roads. At times you have to make a ‘U-turn’. Occasionally you might find walking through the wall itself.

Along the roads, you will be collecting two things without notice. There are ‘feathers’(rewards) and ‘rocks’(sins). As you know, feathers are very light while rocks can be very heavy. In this game, the more ‘feathers’ you collect, the higher position you are in the game. If you collect more ‘rocks’, you will be in lower position. These ‘feathers’ and ‘rocks’ are invisible, so you really can’t count how many you got them. Of course you wanted to be in higher position right? So in order to have that, you must obey the rules of the game. As simple as that.

How will this game ends? It’s easy. Each road will meet up at one gigantic place where there will be the place for players to gather. You will find 2 huge doors in that place too. One of them is ‘white’ in colour, and the other one is ‘black’ in colour. The creator of the game will count your ‘feathers’ and ‘rocks’ to decide which door that you will go through. If you collect more ‘feathers’, insya-Allah you will go through the ‘white’ door. If you collect more ‘rocks’, you will find yourself in the ‘black’ door instead. Now please think back, have you collected enough ‘feathers’ to make sure you belong in the ‘white’ door? Or maybe you have decided to be in the ‘black’ door instead. Think again.

I saw Islam as the correct way to live, and I choose to try to live my life that way.
